How to check your device

Dial *#06#

Open your phone dialer and enter *#06#. If an EID number appears alongside your IMEI, your device supports eSIM.

On iPhone

Go to Settings → General → About and look for an Available SIM or EID entry. You can also try Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM.

On Android

Open Settings → Connections / Network → SIM manager and look for Add eSIM or Add mobile plan.

Compatible devices

Apple iPhone

  • iPhone XR, XS, XS Max
  • iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max
  • iPhone 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 series (all models)
  • iPhone SE (2nd generation, 2020) and newer

iPhones bought in mainland China do not support eSIM.

Apple iPad

  • iPad Pro 11" / 12.9" (3rd generation and newer)
  • iPad Air (3rd generation and newer)
  • iPad (7th generation and newer)
  • iPad mini (5th generation and newer)

Wi-Fi + Cellular models only.

Google Pixel

  • Pixel 3, 3 XL, 3a, 3a XL
  • Pixel 4 series and newer
  • Pixel Fold

A few early Pixel 3 variants on some carriers lack eSIM.

Samsung Galaxy

  • Galaxy S20, S21, S22, S23, S24 series (and newer)
  • Galaxy Note 20 / Note 20 Ultra
  • Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip series
  • Select A-series (e.g. A54, A55)

Some regional variants (e.g. certain US/LATAM models) disable eSIM.

Other devices

  • Motorola Razr (2019+), Edge 40/50
  • Huawei P40, P50, Mate 40 (no Google services)
  • Oppo Find X3/X5, Reno series (select)
  • Sony Xperia 10 IV / 1 IV and newer (select)
  • Rakuten Mini, Big, Hand

Before you buy

  • Your device must be carrier-unlocked. Phones locked to a carrier cannot install a third-party eSIM.
  • Some regional variants disable eSIM — notably iPhones from mainland China and certain region-specific Samsung models.
